About me

I served as a congregational rabbi for a synagogue in New York City for 25 years. Additionally, I hold an honorary doctorate from Hebrew Union College, a Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and a certification in psychoanalysis from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.

I’ve worked as an interfaith chaplain at Bellevue Hospital, and for the last 35 years, I have counseled over 800 couples before performing their weddings.

I am also the proud father of two young adult children, and I am a devoted son and caregiver to an aging parent.
